Tape on A5S Glass Bed (missing adhesive?)

After two weeks getting to know my printer I accidently damaged the blue tape removing a model and needed to remove two section and retape it. After carefully removing the tape I decided I would retape the whole bed and I discovered my glass is not attached in any way to the hot plate. Is this typical or correct? At first I thought ok the tape is there to keep the bed and the plate together but after watching a video on replacing the plate (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjEQLsDwank) it appears the bed should be stuck to the plate via some adhesive on the back of the glass.

Can someone fill me in on how this supposed to work and what Im missing?

Thanks

    Welcome @Bvrettski !
The bed should be held down by tape or by clips. That should be adequate. The bed was glued down in earlier versions but since the bed glass is a consumable that made it a real pain when it came time to replace it. This is the better approach. It also means there is less force causing bed to warp when the bed heater is turned on.
