PTFE inside the heater

Hello,

Maybe it's somewhere but I didn't find.
I have dismounted the PTFE tube at the heater side, but haven't paid attention how deep it was put inside.
Should the tube come through all the length and touch to the face of the threaded metal pipe being heated, or should be some gap left there between?
Is this important? Different oppinions I see in the net, some definitely advise to make a gap but others insist it's fatal mistake.

You want the filament path fully supported. You don't want any places where the filament could kink or bend on that path. My vote is fully inserted.
