JG Aurora A5 - Y-Axis problem

Hi there!
I'm new here and I hope someone can help me out! I just found a lot of z-axis problems on this forum, but none about the y-axis.
My problem is, if I try to calibrate or do anything on my printer, it won't move up and down anymore. It just makes a terrible sound like dying at any moment. I can manuelly move it beetween 10-15 cm up and down, but nothing lower or higher.
There is nothing blocking the hardware, I couldn't find any optical issue on the outside either.
The printer wasn't running for at least 1 year, so I guess that's what could have caused the problem.
Maybe someone has an idea what it could be.
I'm thankful for any suggestions!
