Home JGAurora A5S, A1 & A3S-V2 Getting Started & Troubleshooting

Motherboard burned out

I decided to service the JGAurora A5S printer to change the nozzle and tube, but it turned out to be a little grief. When I collected everything and calibrated, I decided to start the PC. The extruder warmed up and went to print and it touched the glass clamp and I got a short circuit to the case and saw sparks. When parsing, I saw that the insulation of the thermistor was broken and one wire touched the bowden case. Now the printer does not work, or rather, the screen shows the same table temperature 78 degrees nozzle 138. When printing starts, the table starts to warm up, but after a few seconds the screen dims and almost goes out, I turn it off and it is again in normal light. I tried to reflash but it does not help. There is no printer in the motherboard store for a month it has been idle in technical support they said that it might appear next month ... I have a question, can I convert it to A5 if I buy a motherboard and a screen and plug it into A5S?

Welcome @Andrey — sorry to hear of your struggle :disappointed:

First thing to check: Is the glass clamp positioned correctly? On the underside of the bed there are some indicated regions where it is safe to clamp the glass clips. They must be placed in the right regions.

If the glass clips are in the wrong place, then they can cut through the insulation on the underside of the bed, and potentially short-circuit the bed.
