LCD Panel will not operate printer

My LCD display will not operate my printer, I can disconnect the ribbon cable from the LCD Panel and the printer will operate via Pronterface, however it will not respond either with the LCD  or Pronterface if I connect the ribbon cable to the LCD screen.

    Unfortunately it’s difficult to say whether this is a motherboard or lcd fault. Since you already replaced the motherboard, it’s most likely a fault of the lcd module.

    Update on my printer:   I contacted Gear Best about the problems that I was having with my printer, and they took the printer back!   To my surprise they even sent me a prepaid UPS shipping  label .  I opted for a store credit and just a week later I have a new A5 sitting on my desk.  I can't say enough about the great customer support that I received from Gear Best.
