Hello-

I changed out the motor driver and added a TL smoother on my stepper drivers and now my x-axis is having issues.

tomorrow I will try removing tl smoothers and adjusting stepper current. I tried 2 different stepper drivers though and had the same result.

What motor driver are you using now? You only need TL smoother for A4988 and DRV8825. I imagine that most likely tuning stepper current will fix it.

A4988. I have upgraded one to pop on but didn’t have an extra cooling fan handy to drop in. Ok thanks will give it a try and report back.

Problem went away when I added tmc2208. And WOW is my printer quiet now. I wish it handled corners on the calibration cube as well as my cr-10s and makergear m3 though. Considering making a review of all of them to compare.
