What function does this have if any?

So I recently got this board as a gift from a friend and was told it was an upgrade for my A5. With that being said I don't really know what function this has or if it is even for my printer. Can anyone help. I've looked all over google and cant find anything. Thanks.

You can buy an arduino uno or arduino mega for a few $, and use this board to control various motors and servos, perhaps for a robot.
