Cant get my A5S to communicate with other slicing programs

Hey guys, my printer will only connect and print from JGCreate. Cura seems to connect but when i got to print, it drops a line of filiment at the front of the printer and then stops. Simplify3d wont even communicate with it. It just says it cant communicate with the printer.Ive tried several settings but nothing happens. What could my issue be? I dont even think proterface wants to work with it.
