Please help

I put together my A5S yesterday and I'm excited to print so after leveling it and all that I deiced to try the test print and while it worked it was a stringy mess and then half way through the first layer it started dragging the print around ruining it. I tried looking into the issue and most of it was just telling me to turn down the heat in the slicer but then when I put the ssd in and got a slicer I go to do the test print after its been sliced and it just sits there saying its printing and will remain at 0% it also listed the extruder and the bed to be at 0 degrees. please help I really wanna get into this but this has been a problem.

Welcome @ruins !

Man, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems, that's so disappointing I know out of the box!

However, you're not alone, several others have been having similar problems. I suggest to do the following:

1. In Cura 4.1, in the speed settings, please set the "Z maximum speed" to 400.
2. Please copy all the files on the SD card to your computer
3. Format the SD card, as FAT32.
4. Try to print again.

That should work. Please let me know how you go.

Thank you that seems to have fixed the printing issue so thank you very much for that now the only issue is stringing and the print not sticking any recomandations? Also thank you guys for the warm and helpful welcome

for sticking to the bed type issues. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend Gloop. Use painters tape and gloop. You will not regret it. I just ordered a bottle out of frustration for my A5S having bed sticking issues for PLA and ABS. I am not affiliated with this company in any way, just a hobbyist who is super impressed. Essentially it bonds so well because you are putting an extremely thin layer of PLA or ABS down when using the gloop. When the bed cools, they pop right off as normal.

I have 10 printers in all and use geckotek sheets on all of them. (No i don’t work for the company.  I just bought 2 JGAuroras and bought the 12x12” sheets for them and have printed non stop - huge pieces (11.25”x4”x1”) and every time they stick like glue and when the bed cools pop right off.  When they get old (200 prints it says but I haven’t changed mine yet) you simply peel them off and replace with a new one.

i can tell you I print every day and these are awesome...
