Isolation of thermistor

Hi,

Should the whole thermistor be isolated? 

I cannot remember if it completely isolated?
 
Actually a small Part is not isolated

    Normally there are very thin insulating clear plastic sleeves over the thermistor legs. But the body of the thermistor is glass and is not isolated further. Is this the case on yours?

    Yes, it should be right then. I can not determine if its glass but I believe you ;)
