Neverending Story extruder

Hi

I used the default Motor with default stepper driver often succesfull  often not. Today I changed the stepper driver to tmc2130, because I thougt it would solve the overheating Problem with the Motor.

I started a print and watched the first 2 to 4 layers and the quality is was very good.

I came back to Home and the print failed, because the filament were not pushed to the hotend. This happend a few hours ago, and thats why I switched to the 2130.

Why does the fukking extruder Motor is always getting so hot? Even with the TMC2130 with current 800 Max (did not changed anything in fw)

Can the ptfe tube make so much trouble?

please check if current is too low or too high for this steeper. You can change this motor with one X or Y axis and check then if will be hot or not. Maby motor is broken?

I could resolve it with tmc2130 on extruder, with 500mA
