Layer shift

My prints have suddenly started dramatic layer shifts on the X axis after a few hours printing (smaller prints seem fine). Should I try adjusting the stepper drivers with a potentiometer? I'm worried about voiding the warranty on the offchance I  can get it replaced.

I wouldn't worry about voiding the warranty, I think JGAurora understands that these machines do require internal maintenance from time to time. There is no "warranty void" sticker for example.
