How do I level the x-axis gantry, and how to do I make the x-axis gantry go lower?

I have just bought a JG Aurora A5 for Christmas, and I have realized that the x-axis gantry is not completely level. There is a difference of an 1/8 of an inch from one side to the other. Is there any way I can level this? Where would I find this fix on my printer?
The second problem is that when I was leveling the bed, the adjusting screw wasn't long enough to let my bed get close enough to the extruder, and the adjusting part would come off. Is there any way I could make the x-axis gantry lower just a little bit more? Where would I find this fix on my printer
Thanks

For the gantry, you’ll need to hold the lead screw on one side, and turn the other one until the gantry is trammed level to the bed. Make sure you do this with the printer off.
For the problem with the bed screws, please see the FAQ page on the wiki
