First layer problem?!

Hi,

I changed the filament and got the first layer like in the picture now.

Why does the right site looks good and left site a bit weak?

It looks to me like your print bed is a little bit too high. When the gap is too small, the extruder can provide enough pressure out of the nozzle to actually push the bed down slightly to enable extrusion, but this can be unstable. I would recommend a quarter turn of the bed levelling screws to drop the bed ever so slightly.

Furthermore, it looks like the bottom right part of the bed is lower than the top corner, so maybe don't drop that corner, just the other three. If you're finding the bed surface to be warped, you might want to look into flashing the custom firmware and trying out mesh bed levelling. (http://jgaurorawiki.com/a5/mesh-bed-levelling-routine)

    Hi, thanks for the answer.ย

I already got the custom firmware. Maybe its worth to wait your auto level guide?

Did you not have any luck with manual mesh bed levelling? The auto levelling with the sensor will not be better than a good manual bed level. I would definitely recommend persevering to achieve a successful first layer without the sensor, before attempting the next mod.

okay, I will try it with manual.

You will use BLTouch for it?

I use the ir probe for auto bed levelling. You dont need any extra hardware for manual mesh bed levelling.

I will do the mesh bed levelling, I Already flashed the Firmware needed. But should the automatic ones not be more accurate?ย

I think a good manual bed level will be just as accurate, or more accurate compared to an auto bed level. The IR sensor for me has some variability on the glass bed and I think the manual results were more consistently perfect every single time.

And what about the mechanic ones like Bltouch?ย

I have one, havent tried it. Have heard that they break easily. Apparently their accuracy is acceptable: nothing amazing, but not bad.
