Z axis limit switch height???

I'm totally new to 3D printing world and I just received my printer. I followed the instructions provided with the printer but I encountered an issue with the Z axis limit switch. In the instructions, is not written (if it's my fault I'm sorry xd) any about the height of the switch. When I turn on the printer, and go on "prepare-> home" the extruder seems too low from the bed. I don't know what to do and I am pretty scared to continue
