    I'm wondering why the filament option on A5 with new LCD firmware wont retract when changing. Will only lift off print but won't retract at same time. Or isnt that what its supposed to do?

    Hi @philwald1184,
    I’m not sure I understand the problem. When you use the LCD change filament option, are you saying that it does not reverse the filament out of the tube?

    I’ll test in on my printer in the next day or so.

    No.  Its not auto retracting before it lifts away from print. Unless its not supposed too.  Yes, after its lifted away from print I can retract using buttons. I just assumed it should perform a retraction before that

    Oh, so changing the filament mid print? This LCD firmware from Karl is based of a more recent LCD firmware direct from MKS. I’ll be releasing a JGAurora based LCD firmware in the next few days, and will ask you to test it and see if it fixes the problem you’re having.

    Espero vuestra ayuda.
    Saludos.
    Luis.

    @lsh60 - its is not the speaker! It is the stepper motors. They can be quite musical sometimes. The fix is to replace A4988 stepper drivers with TMC2100 or TMC2130 stepper drivers.

    Here is a new LCD firmware for the A5 & A3S - this is based off the official JGAurora firmware from Jan 11th. The only changes are the addition of baby stepping and mesh bed levelling buttons.

    Download community LCD firmware for JGAurora A5
    Download community LCD firmware for JGAurora A3S

    @philwald1184 - can you please try this and see if it fixed the issue? You can also try the original older official JGAurora A5 LCD firmware here, or the untouched newer firmware here.

    @lsh60
    I will make a multilanguage firmware version for you in the next few days. I think spanish is supported.
