Which one of the cooling duct do you prefer?

I’m sorry, I haven’t tried enough of them to comment. I’m just using the stock one at the moment. I plan to upgrade the fan itself as the part cooling fan is anemic, and no duct can fix that.

Please let me stay tuned :)

    Maybe this one?

i´m printing that fanduct, i ordered noctua 40mmx40mmx20mm fans. I think those should be good.

I'm using the sucht and the part itself now and it seems to be very good!
The radial fans are very good but, loud but they blow everything away 😂

The radial fans got a lot of power and they are cool very good, but I'm thinking about to change all to radial fans, which should be less loud.

Someone got a comparison between it?

    @jesser they got 24 volt? I saw only 12V

For this Upgrade you have to move Extruder Stepper Motor and Spool Holder

Its needed for the A5, too?

Yes. Noctua's are 12v but i made voltage regulator for heatsink and find right resistor for filament cooling fan. Very cheap solution. I don't want buy fan that spins 7200rpm and move less air than 5000rpm noctua. i know there are good 24V fans (somewhere) but i can't find those in finland  and those i find cost almost same as noctua.

Hi again, today my fans arrived (40x40x10) with 3000rpm... And I build it up.
. I dont know but the nozzle fan does not blow out anything.
With the radial Fan on 50% I got a lot of more cooling.

Imho a combination of both would be the best, top Fan 40x40 axial Fan and nozzle Fan a radial. With slicer or fw the max speed could be set.
I will try to mix both.

10mm fans can't create much static pressure. 20mm is better. Of course radial is it's own level.

    I use now this

    with this:

    (second 1 is from myself)
Radialfan can be reduced to 50% or less in case of noise

    Hi,

after many tries and prints with PLA and PETG I'm not happy with the fan duct of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2810982

From the heat it got torsion and in worst case, it touches the print or build plate....

Which on you can vouch for?
