I would say buy a new motherboard. An MKS Gen L is the best bet, rather than trying to adapt a different model to fit and to work. They are not great quality, but they are cheap, and seem to work most of the time.
Maybe you could go back to the white plug only, and see if the bed heats correctly then. Because if it is only the black TH1 port that is faulty, then you could swap pins 13 and 15 in the firmware, and use the purple socket for the hot end extruder readings.
I didnt see your question until now - none of the sensors are reading out the right temperature - it is summer here in denmark, and temp is well above 20 c so a printer that has 17 c or less is not likely :-) and especially not now when one or the other plug is disconnected, then it is really nonsense.
Summer is better for these kinds of problems You could double check all connectors are in... check the thermistor on the head is not damaged... but I am fairly convinced the board is cuckoo.
You can ask gearbest to send you a new motherboard for the A5 under warranty: this one here is correct, otherwise there are heaps for sale on ebay fairly cheaply - any MKS Gen L is fine.
It just occured to me - I have an FLSUN QQ appearantly the same MB I know it works! But this is a delta printer - could I use this as a donor card? off course with flashed memory!
And yes I am just as aar maaan as you (maybe a bit more)
Once again thank you for helping - it worked like a charm - I am now printing my first little Benchy. I was just about to give up. Have a very nice day Best regards Mark Kruse :-)
