Why no TMC2130 driver for feeder motor ?

Hi @ all,
Currently I am busy with the conversion of the motor driver.
I already bought TMC2130 and planned to equip all engines with it.
Now I read again and again that you can not take the TMC2 ... for the feeder motor.
For me this statement is not understandable, the feeder motor is indeed only a stepper.
Why can not you use the TMC2 ... for the feeder?
