Cura printing time estimate not accurate after steppers upgrade?

I know that estimates may be a way off but in my case the difference is 100%: Cura estimated printing time as 14 hours versus 28 in real life.
I think that before steppers replacement difference was not so significant - 10 to 25 percents on long prints but I was using JCGreat at the time.
Is new Cura 3.5* too optimistic ? Or the upgrade indeed slowed down the machine?
