DO NOT USE EMERGENCY STOP PLUGIN FOR A5S ON OCTOPRINT OR M112 COMMAND USING STOCK JGAURORA FIRMWARE

There seems to be a serious bug with JGAurora newest firmware.

If you are printing something using OctoPrint DO NOT use the Emergency Stop plugin. It will shut off the motors BUT it will keep on the heaters of the extruder and reach extreme high temperatures that can damage PTFE tubing.

Furthermore, DO NOT use the M112 Emergency Stop command on the printer. The above mentioned will happen until JGAURORA releases a fix.

This bug seems to only apply for the A5S. I am not sure about other JGAURORA models.

JGAurora took this VERY seriously when I reported it earlier. I’ve actually been given a new firmware for the A5S that is supposed to fix this, but haven’t had a chance to test it yet...

the M112 command is not offered by Cura/JGCreat so they probably unfortunately overlooked it during development.

Once I have tested it, it will be stickied on the home page to let people know.
